Meet Sandy | Receptionist

Sandy is the friendly face and voice that welcomes you to Lion & Lamb Vet Co.! She has years of experience working directly with people and families, and she truly loves helping others feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors. Sandy loves her black cat, Ophelia! Her love for animals and people makes her the perfect first point of contact for our clinic. Sandy’s favorite Bible verse is Ecclesiastes 3:1: “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under Heaven.” A reminder she carries with her in both life and work.

Meet Daniel |  Receptionist

Daniel brings over 14 years of experience in customer service and quality assurance to Lion & Lamb Vet Co. He’s always ready to greet you with a warm smile and help make every visit smooth, welcoming, and stress-free from the moment you walk through the door. At home, Daniel is a proud cat dad to two kitties, Nanner and Vena, who keep life entertaining outside the clinic. Daniel’s favorite Bible verse is 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV):

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

A verse that reflects the calm, care, and compassion he brings to his work each day.

Meet Beth | Vet Assistant

Beth has worked with animals for the past four years, gaining hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. Her passion for animal care shines through in everything she does, and she loves helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Outside of the clinic, Beth’s home is full of life! She has five dogs, a cat, a bunny, two degus, two gerbils, a parakeet, a tarantula, a corn snake, three leopard geckos, and a crested gecko — proof that she truly loves animals of all shapes and sizes. Beth’s favorite Bible verses include Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,”

and John 14:6 — “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” Verses that reflect her faith, dedication, and heart for service.

Meet Emma | Vet Assistant

Emma has worked with animals her entire life, growing up on a farm where caring for animals was simply part of everyday life. Being surrounded by animals and learning about them from a young age is something she loved then — and still loves just as much today. At home, Emma has quite the crew: a Yorkie named Marlee, a Goldendoodle named Charlee, an Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix named Patches, and a barn cat appropriately named Cat (creativity at its finest 😄). She also cares for seven sheep and a flock of chickens, so animal care truly doesn’t stop when she leaves work. Emma’s favorite Bible verse is John 3:30: “He must become greater; I must become less.”

Meet Dakota | Co-Founder & Practice Manager

Dakota is the co-founder and practice manager of Lion & Lamb Vet Co. and is currently in school to become a licensed veterinary technician. Having grown up around animals, she has always had a deep love for both pets and people and a passion for serving others with compassion and care.

Her favorite Bible verse is Matthew 5:16 “ Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” She strives to live each day as a light to others — showing God’s love through kindness, service, and the way she cares for His creations. Dakota sees her work as a ministry and believes serving as the hands and feet of Jesus is at the heart of everything she does. When she’s not at the clinic, Dakota is at home with her three dogs — Sadie, Kylo, and Fish (yes, Fish is a dog!) — and five cats, along with her husband, Dr. Lawson, and their three sweet babies.
